About Us

The South Central Core Collective (SC3), a regional chapter of the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) aims to provide networking opportunities, professional development, and access to new technologies to shared research resource staff of all levels including directors, research scientists, technicians, and beyond. Core Facility life is so niche that there is great benefit to having a place for core facility staff to be able to network and learn more about the opportunities available. This includes those in fields such as microscopy, genomics, material characterization, proteomics, flow cytometry, and animal research. Serving Texas, Colorado, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, SC3 fosters a collaborative environment that advances scientific discovery through shared resources.
